Not ready to commit to the full video course just yet? Or are you a guitar player who’s curious about the short-cut capo method? Grab the self-guided book and we’ll include a FREE short-cut capo so you can try it out and start playing immediately.
You've got questions. We've got answers.
This is a GREAT question! If you look at the two capos below, you will see one is longer than the other. (Red & white capo.) The longer one is used by all guitarist to change keys of songs, making the songs easier to sing or play using preferred chords, and it covers all 6 strings. If you look at the two shorter capos (white & gold) you will notice that it is shorter and it will only cover 3 strings on the guitar. The short-cut/partial capo alters the tuning of the guitar without having to manually retune the guitar. By using the short-cut/partial capo this new tuning allows the student to play much easier chords using 1-2 fingers, and allows for quick success in playing guitar.
This method works best with an acoustic guitar, due to the huge, big sound you will get. If you have smaller hands, you may be interested in a smaller guitar, such as a 3/4 size guitar. Women especially seem to prefer the small guitars for the comfortability of the reach, neck size and they are less bulky to hold, as compared to a dreadnaught sized guitar. If you're not sure what you need (in the case you don't already have a guitar) just drop by your local music store and try a few out to see which feels the best for you. (Left - Dreadnaught Guitar. Right - 3/4 Size Guitar)

YES! Because most chords used with the short-cut/partial capo guitar method revolves around using 1-2 fingers for making chords. This is great if you still want to play guitar but are concerned with having small hands or arthritis. There will be some chords that require 3 fingers, however, they are still more comfortable than traditional guitar chords.
Most Definitely! In the full course you will learn how to play in different keys so that you can play along with others or play in keys that suit your vocal range.
The testimonials below are from actual students that have taken the Quick Pick Short-Cut Capo Guitar Course!
"Take the course! As a total, true beginner I was playing in a matter of minutes!"
"I was thrilled to be able to play so quickly and now be able to play guitar with my adult son!"
I really enjoyed the Quick Pick Short-Cut Capo Guitar Course! I am a violinist so I had a lot of questions about the instrument, theory and technique. Anna was able to answer all of my questions and help me develop a much better understanding of the instrument and method. I came away from the class being able to play, and that was so much fun! I'd recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn guitar!
